Urban Studio is currently recruiting experienced Architects, Interior Designers. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering exemplary projects from inception to completion. Duties will include hands –on production of design , working drawings and specifications alongside checking technical and construction detailing produced by other team members.
You will be joining the practice at an exciting time. We have moved to a heritage property in the hip suburb of Bandra and are enjoying our refurbished studio space. The practice has just completed a number of unique projects like the Hotel Crest in Chennai, an Art gallery in Mumbai and multiple highrise projects.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an extensive understanding of design dialogue, materials and construction processes with experience in contract documents and construction administration.
SKILL SETS REQUIRED
- Design Flair.
- Communication skills and ease with both clients and contractors.
- Experience at running projects with design sensitivity and precision.
- Capable of managing a small team.
- Freshers should be hardworking , hands-on and enthusiastic.
- Computer Skills: Autocad , Photoshop essential, Sketchup.
