Trilogy, Mumbai, 2010

4500 sq ft, nightclub at the Sea princess hotel, Mumbai

Trilogy is the first of many projects that searches for the spatial dimension in audio art.

2000 LED crystal chandeliers pulse to the sound connecting the visual and acoustical perceptions over two levels that are connected by grand staircase cum seating. Dynamically modulated origami acoustical walls control the bounce of sound and lights off them to manifest the beat of the music.

While architectural acoustics at Trilogy use building materials to influence sound perception in space, the sound and light symphony influences the space perception acoustically.

Trilogy thus lies at the exciting intersection of architecture , music, sound and space.
