Liv, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, 2011

Revamped Red Light nightclub

Liv is conceived as a jewel. The modest volume of the club is amply magnified by surfaces that create multiple reflections and pulsate with synchronised light and sound.

Hypnotic and luminous, the endless chandelier and starry fibre optic ceiling create an infinite expanse.

Faceted resin walls control the bounce of sound and lights to manifest the beat of the music.

While architectural acoustics at Liv use building materials to influence sound perception in space, the sound and light symphony influences space perception acoustically.

Like Trilogy, Liv lies at the exciting intersection of architecture , music, sound and space.
