Tetsuma

3000 sq ft, Restaurant

Tetsuma continues our preoccupation with the reconfiguration of spaces in dense urban contexts. Sliding screens along the horizontal and vertical axes create a variety of transperant fine dine volumes that can be merged, collapsed, extended at will.

The option of dynamic flooding on less busy weekdays adds drama and helps to maintain critical visual density. The restaurant’s commercial interests are met by malleable volumes that are created by economising on service inputs.

Dynamic Flooding addresses issues of critical density.
